GIB Dry Zone®

Protection from steam and moisture damage.

Wet areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, en-suites and laundries are the rooms most frequently used and often the most expensive to repair. So it is important to get the basics right and avoid steam and moisture damage.

Designate these rooms as GIB Dry Zones® where the primary wall lining used is GIB Aqualine®.

A GIB Dry Zone® is a combination of design, heating, ventilation and purpose designed materials to maintain the ideal environment.

GIB Aqualine® is a plasterboard that has been developed with a water resistant core containing special wax polymers to help reduce moisture being absorbed by the lining and from passing through into the underlying framing where it can cause serious damage.

GIB Aqualine® provides an excellent base for paint, tile and wallpaper finishes.
